The exercise physiology is one of the most important subjects are studied for the degree of Sciences of Physical Activity and Sport (personally the nicest). For this reason I want to show you some of the most relevant content on sports physiology that we can currently find in the vast ocean of the Internet.
Before starting, I would like to define the term "physiology" to end by pointing out the specific concept of exercise physiology and those contents that we should not miss if we want to be well updated on this matter.
What is physiology?
A more complete definition would be the one provided by the definitions.de website, which tells us that " physiology is responsible for studying the interactions of the basic elements of the living being with its environment ." A changing environment that living organisms (animals or plants) try to counteract to maintain “continuous stable states”. These stable states are achieved through adaptations of your cells, organs, and systems.
Within animal physiology , we find the particular study of physiology exercise. A field of study where physiologists pay special attention to the homeostatic capacity of the human being (of which I spoke in the previous paragraph), that way of achieving balance constant internal environment making the necessary internal adaptations.
Finally, and going down to the definition of the keyword in this post ...
What is exercise physiology?
According to Rocio Cupeiro, professor and researcher at the INEF in Madrid (UPM), exercise physiology is the science that studies the functioning of the systems and apparatus of the human body during physical activity.
These studies will allow us to work on physiological adaptations through physical exercise, which is a planned, repeated and structured physical activity to improve physical condition for health or for sports performance.
Once the term is contextualized and knowing that the physiology of effort and sport is a changing science that will help us make sense of the planning of our training sessions, I am going to propose a series of key contents that are present in the online field and You should not miss if you want to be 100% updated.
Digital content in exercise physiology
Those of you who follow my articles know that my thing is digital marketing applied to the world of sports, so I cannot help but give a very special weight to the contents that occupy good positions in the search results in Google or other search engines! There must be a reason! ➡ Note : Search engines ALWAYS try to show the best result for the user's search intent, as it is the key to their business.
The immense ocean of the internet is full of content of all kinds but when one fiddles deeply, one realizes that many indicators point to very specific content of value, that is why I will start by citing one of the most read blogs in our country on this matter and most Spanish-speaking countries.
Exercise Physiology Laboratory
You may be wondering: how can a laboratory be considered digital content to be consulted on the Internet? Well yes, since February 2018 we can say that the INEF's Physiology Laboratory (UPM) has become a generator of digital content. And all thanks to a new Educational Innovation project where, through a series of videos posted on YouTube, it will bring us closer, among other issues, to the physiology of exercise.
At this point, I would like to open a parenthesis to promote this other post that I am sure will be of interest to you, by presenting a device that will revolutionize field work in the world of exercise physiology. Discover the HUMON HEX
